About IPEJ-BIO

The IPEJ-Biotechnology (IPEJ-BIO) is a sectional group of registered professional engineers titled as the P.E.Jp. for biotechnology in the Institution of Professional Engineers, Japan. 

 In the IPEJ-BIO, we have meetings on the second Saturday of each even month, where biotechnology seminars and friendship parties are held.  Our group is characteristically containing relative many and active young/female members. Then, it shows a high proportion of pre-Professional Engineer members, including Associate Professional Engineers and Engineers-in-Training.  As a result, high member rate, that 65% of the P.Es.Jp (Biotechnology) who  passed the Second-Step Professional Engineer Examination are the members of IPEJ, has been achieved.

 In the field of biotechnology, its technological progress is very fast and its technological scope is continuously expanding.  We hope that this page is useful for the person working in every area of biotechnology by information sharing.

Chairman's Message

Thank you very much for your visiting our web site of the IPEJ-Biotechnology (IPEJ-BIO).  Now we have made our web site renewal for more informative activities, while we had established the original one earlier than any other group in the IPEJ.

The IPEJ-BIO is a young and active group in IPEJ which launched only about fifteen years ago. The motto of our group is that "Biotechnology is always happy", which means you are always happy whenever you visit us.  The members, whose age are ranging from 20 to 80 years old, having wide and deep specialty, such as food, chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, electricity, electronics and environment, take part in the activities with pleasure.  It reflects to its high member rate of IPEJ, so that 65% of the P.Es.Jp (Biotechnology) who passed the final Professional Engineer Examination have become and performed as the members of IPEJ.  Our meeting will provide opportunities of personal development, information sharing (e.g. technological information, business information and job opportunity), and friendship among the members each other.  Interchange and network with high-minded colleagues will be very valuable property.  "The proof of the pudding's in the eating."  Please visit our meetings, as well as our web site.  We look forward to your visit!
